Stevanie Anita Williams, graduate of the American Musical & Dramatic Academy in New York, NY, is blessed to be a part of CSC’s production of “Race Matters?”. Stevanie is a member of Wombwork Productions Inc. “Nu World Art Ensemble”, Baltimore’s preeminent youth mentoring theatre group. Through Wombwork and affiliation with the Sankofa Dance Theatre, Stevanie has been a theater educator in the Baltimore City Public School System and abroad using Musical Theater and West African based principles to help youth study and explore self awareness, social justice, and global change. Her credits include: HBO’s series “The Wire”, Sophisticated Ladies(Broward Stage Door, Fl) Smokey Joe’s Cafe(Irvingstreet Rep) If You Give A Mouse A Cookie(Theatre Works USA) Your Arm’s Too Short To Box With God(Irvingstreet Rep) The Wiz(Hugh Carey Prod.), and national touring cast of McDonald’s “Faces of Black History”.
