Job Description

The Development Director is a collaborative steward of the CSC mission, vision, and values. This dynamic team and community member will be responsible for primary leadership of CSC’s organizational fundraising and development activities related to the cultivation and maintenance of individual, corporate, foundation, grant, and government supports. In collaboration with the Executive Director and executive committee, this role provides leadership on hiring, training, guiding, and evaluating administrative support staff and supporting organizational strategy and operations.

Qualifications

● Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in External Relations, Nonprofit Management, Fundraising, Communications, or Donor Relations; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience; preferred

● Excellent writing skills with a high degree of accuracy (fundraising and program
impact communications preferred)

● Strong proficiency in MS Suite, Google Suiteicrosoft suites, WordPress, Network for Good

● Exceptional organization and project management skills; able to establish
priorities and manage multiple projects and deadlines

● Mobility in a variety of office, conference, and event settings

● Ability to lift 25-50 lbs to shoulder height; required

● Reliable form of transportation, vehicle, and updated registration and insurance;
required

Compensation

The salary range is $70,000-$85,000 annually (depending on experience). CSC currently offers
the following benefits to all employees.

● Health Care Contributions: $400/month (FTE)

● Accrual of PTO – 2 days per month

● Negotiating Retirement options (in progress)
