Uche Ohaya  Facilitating Artist

Uchenna “Uche” Ohaya was born and raised in the Montbello neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. As the second of four children to Nigerian parents, Athanasius and Veronica Ohaya, Uche has always expressed herself through the writing and performing of her poetry. Graduating from the Denver School of Science and Technology in 2010, she has continued her passion for lifelong learning, social justice and creativity through her work with Project VOYCE (Voices of Youth Changing Education) as well as Creative Strategies for Change.  Uche is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree at the Metropolitan State University of Denver.
