Join Creative Strategies for Change for an immersive workshop building wellness-centered skills for equity, diversity, and liberation! Our Winter 2024 Facilitator Workshop takes place over two weekends, Dec 6th-8th and 13th-14th. Session times are listed below.

About the Workshop

This workshop is for educators, artists, business professionals, community leaders, and all individuals who want to build skills for practicing equity and liberation in their community! Over the course of the workshop, participants will gain:

Creative facilitation techniques to utilize in personal and professional settings
A deepened understanding of identity and impact
Language and tools for navigating tough conversations
Knowledge about the power of arts engagement
New connections and authentic relationships
Confidence to make an impact from your unique seat in the world

The workshop will be held over Zoom so that you can participate from the comfort of your home. Because this experience has been carefully crafted, the Zoom space will maintain an active and engaged energy, weaving in body-centered activities and small group breakouts.

Pricing

The cost to attend is $375, with sliding-scale options available. For those needing additional financial support, we offer Scholarships and Work Exchange opportunities. Scholarships are available for folks who identify as BIPOC, while the Work Exchange is open to everyone.

Session Dates and Times

The workshop will take place on Zoom over the course of five sessions in two weekends. All sessions together are a total of 20 hours. We ask that participants attend all five sessions in order to maintain the strength of the cohort and receive all material.

Friday, December 6th: 4:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Saturday, December 7th: 10:00 am – 2:30 pm

Sunday, December 8th: 10:00 am – 1:30 pm

Friday, December 13th: 4:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Saturday, December 14th: 10:00 am – 2:30 pm

We allow 3-4 members of the same organization to attend the workshop at a discounted rate. We also offer private Professional Development packages for groups of five or more.
