Creative Strategies for Change is a non profit organization with 501c3 status.

Since the conception of CSC, we have received grant and sponsorship support from the following organizations that believe in our goals and vision.

Government and Foundation Grants

Chinook Fund

The Chinook Fund provides critical seed funding and infrastructural support to grassroots community organizations working for social justice and human rights across the state of Colorado. In 2015 Creative Strategies for Change received two start up grants from the Chinook Fund and we have received funding support every year since.

Colorado Health Foundation

The Colorado Health Foundation (CHF) funds impactful work helping Coloradans achieve health equity. CHF serves populations whose health needs are not being met due to income, age, race, ethnicity, geography or other barriers. Creative Strategies for Change was honored to be a grantee in 2017 and again in 2020.

Colorado Creative Industries

CCI’s mission is to promote, support and expand the creative industries to drive Colorado’s economy, grow jobs and enhance our quality of life. The creative economy subgroups are design, film and media, literary and publishing, performing arts, visual arts and design, and heritage. Creative Strategies for Change was honored to be a grantee in 2020 again.

Denver Arts and Venues

Denver Arts & Venues is the City and County of Denver agency responsible for operating some of the region’s most renowned facilities, including Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater, the Denver Performing Arts Complex, Colorado Convention Center, Denver Coliseum and McNichols Civic Center Building. In 2019 Creative Strategies for Change received this grant to support our Movement Music course designed for the youth of our community. In 2020, we have been honored to receive this grant again to support the ACT Music Institute in 2021.

Office of Children’s Affairs

The Office of Children’s Affairs (OCA) develops strategies and builds partnerships to ensure young people have access to nutritious food, high-quality childcare and after school programs, early learning and literacy resources, youth transportation, mentorship opportunities, cultural experiences and pathways to post-secondary education and careers. In 2020, Creative Strategies for Change received funding that made the ACT Winter Institute happen.

Moniker Foundation

The Moniker Foundation are a private foundation that provides resources for education and well-being to Colorado communities. The Moniker Foundation’s philosophy is, “Stimulate engagement to establish impact”. In recognition that education and individual growth are stimulated through a variety of mediums, we strive to find organizations, programs, and additional services that provide the proper blend of support and learning experiences to create lasting impacts for their clients. Creative Strategies for Change first received funding in 2020, in which we are honored to receive.

New Image Brewing

New Image Brewing is a local Colorado brewery located in Olde Town, Arvada that serves delicious craft beer and other specialties. During the Black is Beautiful fundraising campaign, NIB raised funds that were donated to Creative Strategies for Change. Thank you, New Image Brewing!

Blick Art Materials
